A leadership opportunity for young people to represent the Grange, serve their communities, and promote agriculture and civic engagement.
The National Grange Junior Department is transforming the traditional Junior Ambassador Program into a Regional Program. This program is aimed at growing and developing stronger leaders across all Grange Regions.
Up to two Regional Junior Ambassadors may be selected in each region. These Ambassadors will be catalysts for the development of Junior programming in those regions and will become the National Grange Junior Team. They will work closely with the National Junior Director, Junior Advisory Council, and Junior directors/state presidents across their region to bring programming, leadership development, and education to the states they represent.
Eligibility
- Must be between the ages of 11-14 years, having observed their 11th birthday, but not their 15th by December 31st of the year they attend the National Session.
- Must be a Junior Grange member for a minimum of 3 years.
- Applicants must be able to attend the National Convention to represent their state during Junior Grange activity days (Thursday-Saturday) at their own costs. (check if state grants are available)
- Applicants must have a parent or guardian to attend the National Convention with them.
- Good standing in their local Grange.
- Interest in agriculture, community service, and leadership.
